There are many many modules that have already code made but I need a new private solution. I need a node module that will be able to scan programmatically using the TWAIN lib of the scanner. Resources that might help: You may use the TWAIN32.DLL in order to communicate with the USB Scanner. It should work on Windows only (Xp, Vista, 7, 10) - win32 It will work on a single model (Brother DS620 Scanner) so the test cases are very limited. I have a VB6 DLL which utilizes the VbAsyncSocket project (). The DLL works perfectly for the most part until I enable a certain feature of the application which calls the DLL. Once this feature is enabled (a dual monitor feature) the programs throws an APPCRASH on exit. See attached two pictures of the APPCRASH message. I'm thinking that the issue has to do with the helper window self-subclassing but I'm not certain. Other than this APPCRASH the DLL performs all functions perfectly.
