Dear Mr Labrie (I hope that I guessed correctly), I am a native German translator from the UK. After completing my bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Advertising I studied International Communication in the USA. Since then I have been working with companies in Germany, South Africa and the UK; among those are Young & Rubicam (SA), Remo Marketing (DE), Deloitte (SA) and McNamara, Klein & Partner (NY). Between 1998 until 2009 I have been representing 5 German companies in South Africa. Since 2009 I am working as a freelance translator and writer from home. I'm actually more bidding for the other project in French, but couldn't send my bid. I am a French student at Maastricht University and currently on exchange at Copenhagen Business School. I speak French and English, and I also speak German since i studied it for 7 years and lived with German people for 2 years. My experience in edition and translation has been made through my Student Assistant job for the Marketing and Communications department of Maastricht University, where I was part of the French marketing team and had to write a newsletter every two months in France and wrote an article for a magazine published in France/Belgium and Switzerland.
