See the attached task file and WHAT_YOU_NEED_TO_DO file for detailed instructions. It's about translating descriptions and in-game texts for educational games to French. Work amount: 17k words + about 3-4 hours for playing the games and testing your translations in the games (include this into price!) Serious translators only! I won't pay you and will leave a bad review if: - you just send me Google Translated files - you aren't a native speaker, can't spell or don't know grammar well - don't open the games and just race thru the strings without knowing what the game is about The work plan after project accepted: - you download the games (1 hour, see links inside WHAT_YOU_NEED_TO_DO), - you play the games through (2 hours), - you translate game descriptions (5k words) - I check with native speakers that it's not Google Translate and release the first milestone, - you translate in-game strings (12k words) - I check with native speakers that it's not Google Translate and release the second milestone, - I build the games with your strings included, tell you about it (there may be a delay of up to 1 day), - you re-download the games and do another check of how strings look inside the games, - if needed, you fix any minor issues in your translations, send the updated files to me, - (optional) I re-build again, you re-check again and find no issues :) - I release the last milestone.

Hello, I would love to translate your project into French. I am a professional video games localization translator, with six year of experience as an in-house tester and translator in several companies and as a freelancer. My background as a localization tester and as a gamer allows me to translate with the testing phase in mind. I am very careful about minimizing length differences, keeping consistency across the different parts of the game and adjusting the tone and the terminology to the type of game and target audience. I am used to translating all genres of games and have translated games for children in the past, including “EyePet” and “Start the Party!” for PlayStation, as well as many mobile apps. I worked as a localization tester for two years, and always use the game build when I translate a video game.
