Hello This type of projects is what I do for years now. I started with a youtube clone back in 2005, and since then the platform grew into having users, videos, photos, blogs, events, web chat, payment integration. The latest module added is this flash based webcam chat. This is a complex chat system I have where users can create a room for one to many chat, or one to one chat. It's based on Red5 and LAMP. From this platform I can use any module you want they all work independently. It's also based on a template engine to accommodate different design layouts. I work along with a friend who's specialized in web interface(html, css,etc) and we have another friend that is professional designer and we ask for his services on needed basis. From previous experience I must tell you, in order for this to be a success, you should consider the project a long term, it is hard to have something implemented in 4-6 weeks and then hope it works on autopilot forever. We can build the site and if that's all you want it's fine, but my advice is to consider some sort of ongoing collaboration where we are the technical part of the whole thing. *** I don't have huge experience in webRTC, whoever say that is not honest, the technology is not even fully evolved, but based on my previous experience with rtmp and web programming in general, this is just another fun part of such project *** Sincerely Cristian Rusu

Hey Chris, I am a node.js and javascript developer with elaborate experience in realtime systems including audio video and text chats. I have developed highly scaleable completely P2P video chat infrastructure for various clients based on WebRTC and Flash Cirrus, and many of these sites are online also. Also for reference i can show you a site i am working on for a client from freelancer itself.I do most of the work in node.js and keeps php/java out of the server code mainly because node.js handles the realtime traffic with more efficiency because of the evented nature. I can provide a complete p2p video chat solution for you, that can be scalable and modular so that new stuff can be added easily over this. I do have experience with mixing WebRTC and Flash so most of the devices out there get covered, also once WebRTC becomes a standard without rewrite you can expect the system to work well without need for flash(flash is going down slowly on many platforms). I've built sites that had hundreds of thousands of hits a day in Ruby on Rails. We ran mostly on Rackspace, but I've used EC2 for other things and have a pretty goodhandle on it. I'm a little curious that you require both WebRTC and Flash - do you want multiple implementations of the chat interface? I'd be interested to hear more of the details about the project - are you not going to need user accounts, for instance? Look forward to hearing from you. Patrick
