Hello,
I have a spreadsheet that contains two worksheets. One sheet holds data, and the other contains a pivot table.
Data sheet:
The information in the data sheet is auto-populated using a web query pointing to an intranet url (so it may not work on your end).
Right now I have the data refreshing itself, but the user is prompted to "Enable data refresh". I would like to get rid of that and have the data refreshed through a macro.
The data is qualitative data; there's no numbers involved.
Pivot table:
I also have two pictures in the spreadsheet. I would like to "lock" the position so that users can't move them around, and that they don't move around when users resize columns.
And could you fix the print layout so that it's as legible as possible? Can this be done through a macro?
If you have any creative ideas on how to do this, or if you think of something cool to add, please let me know :)
Thanks,
M
ps: no generic bids please
Hi there,
I am an expert in Excel and VBA. I can do this task no problems at all.
Please note that I am based in the UK so some timing differences may occur.
Kind regards
Nash
This sounds like the sort of thing we're good at, with our extensive Excel / VBA experience. Could you post a copy of the spreadsheet so that we can see what we'd be letting ourselves in for ? Some data from the URL would be good too - even we find it difficult to test code without data - but we can make some up if necessary.
As long as there are no nasty surprises in the spreadsheet we could get it done over the weekend.
