We are launching a new range of European Spruce timber (from Scandinavia) to the market in New Zealand. This is the first time this has ever been done and offers an outstanding product at the top end of the market. NZ standards attached cover Pine and Douglas Fir being used in structural applications. This is the first time any other specie than these has passed NZ structural standards. Key benefits of the range over against local competing products: - stronger - stiffer - more stable - high visual grade - SG8 & SG10 in full range - matching paneling and sarking - great value-for-money - PEFC certified - indoor (UT), outdoor (H3.2CQ) Three different markets must be considered for - end user (home or building owner), builder, architect. Need at least three different articles to cover these three different markets. Key things the markets are going to be interested in: Home owner - visual appearance, does it meet NZ Standards, country of origin Builder - availability, structural grades, does it meet NZ standards Architect - structural grades, durability, applications, certification (PEFC), country of origin.
