You will need experience in both writing engaging articles and executing content strategies that secure social media promotion and backlinks. AfricaLive is on a mission to change how the African continent is perceived internationally, and how it is marketed to the world. This is not an easy task; budgets are tight & reliable information is often hard to find. Our clients who join our platform are looking for exposure on media, promotion on social media, and quality backlinks from authority websites. We create a content hub for each client, where we post articles and interviews for that client. [login to view URL] In the creation of these hubs, we are now looking to take a more strategic approach to content creation that will ensure off-page promotion. You will need to be able to; Work with client and AfricaLive team to establish all relevant information and quotes for the content hub. Research article further, and write engaging authority content. Identify influencers within the clients community or target niche who could be quoted & relied upon to retweet / promote final content. Identify authority websites which can be approached for backlinks to the content, and reference them within our content if necessary. Implement further promotion of the content upon launch through social media, groups, message boards etc. This is an ongoing project, with new clients coming on board consistently. We are looking for reliable, committed content strategists and writers to join the team who will share our passion for this challenging task of marketing Africa to the world.
