Help calculate seconds left to a date in Razor ASP.NET

Hi! I've got a page which has a Razor script. The script uses a sqlreader call to a database to get a DateTime column.. I need help creating a string with seconds left from now (+3 minutes) to that date. That string should later be used in a javascript function. Should be really basic for someone knowledgeable with Razor(asp.net), 2-3 rows of code.
