Linux - MythTV - upgrade MythMusic

DO NOT BID before looking at: [login to view URL] MythTv is a well developed open source PVR project offering an alternative to MS Media Centre for the Linux platform. MythMusic is one of the components I would like to see improved in the following ways: 1. ability to download/upload songs from the mp3 database to IPODs and other portable MP3 devices (requires USB support) 2. integrated CD burning functionality (i.e. burn albums to CD-R, backup mp3 collections to CDR/DVDR, create MP3 CD's) 3. ability to keep MythMusic playing whilst using other features of MythTv 4. rearrangement of screen design to allow the user to easily to manipulate large mp3 collections - according to alternate screen designs. Bidders must be familiar with Linux, C and Python. I am not looking for someone out to make a 'quick buck' - the successful bidder will be someone who is genuinely interested in this project and will be glad to improve an open source project.
