Test Reshade desktop application following the guidelines in the attached guide. Download the application from: [login to view URL] The project consists of finding a minimum of 5 bugs, anything over that will be counted as a bonus that you will receive on completing the project. So for example supposing you bid $10 for 5 bugs, then the bonus bugs will be proportional, which means $2 for each additional bug over the default 5. Additional bonus: * $8 more / bug for each reproducible crash situation (if you manage to crash the app and make a video of it detailing the exact case when this happens); only actual crashes count, the application locking up for a few minutes and then coming back online does not count as a crash Feature suggestions do not count as bugs, so will not be paid. ## Deliverables This may help in finding situations to test. Verify the application works well considering the following: Doesn't crash when: * loading/saving different image formats * batch processing / single saving * starting the application and closing/opening new dialogs fast enough * locks up whenever app is handled in an unusual fashion Produces correct image processing results: * settings (DPI, resolution) saved/loaded correctly for different image formats (PNG had some problems) * image should look ok after saving (no obvious curruption), especially if not enough hard disk space Displayed correct layout: * different application screens * all languages * intuitive functionality, works smoothly and as expected, mention when it doesn't do that well Installer/uninstaller works as expected: * uninstaller removes all files, cleans up startup menu * installer overwrites existing files correctly Unregistered/lite/pro license enable expected functionality: * shows appropriate watermarks for each of these licenses * registering to lite and then upgrading to pro works as expected * use these testing licenses: 1234567890123456 - pro license, 1122334455667788 - lite license ; they should enabled lite/pro functionality, but a watermark will still be displayed on the saved images, though the watermark will say what version is enabled Note: Unregistered version shows watermarks on both batch and single saved images. Lite version should show a different set of watermarks on single save, same thing for Pro license. Other things you can consider to come up with ideas for testing: * the panning/cropping rectangles work correctly at various zooms and aspect ratios * conversions are correct between units of measure (percent, pixels etc pixels/inch pixels/cm etc) * check if parameters are saved/restored correctly * interface is working consistently (changes in one setting propagate consistently to the others) * specified settings are correctly applied to the saved images * previewing of images in the batch list works correctly (center-crop is displayed correctly etc) * results of batch processing are consistent * switching from batch processing to the other tabs work correctly, and the processing parameters are handled consistently * file naming after batch processing is correct * interface layout is ok in both normal and maximized state * available image formats are read and written without any error * the application doesn't crash in any circumstance * standard sizes list is displayed properly * the selection of standard sizes is correct in both situations when crop is enabled or not * crop feature works as expected (aspect ratio is correctly transfered to different images, crop rectangle works well etc) * selecting a standard size means the image should fit inside the frame of the std given size from the dropdown list of sizes * if stretching enabled it should be stretched to fit, otherwise it should be adjusted to fit perfectly on the correct dimension and the other dimension should be proportional to it so that to maintain aspect ratio inferred from width/heigh controls * images added correctly to the batch list, and interaction is as expected * batch processed images have all options applied to them consistently * batch list works for a lot of files (4000+) * batch list doesn't have responsiveness problems when using it etc * batch crop is applied correctly on double click / enter on the batch list * use keyboard shortcuts or buttons to open/remove files, drag drop features, select in list and remove, unicode file names support * destination panel in batch processing works as expected, renaming works correctly etc * check for consistent changes accross correlated options (i.e. changing zoom will change output file size)
