Looking for an expert c programmer with knowledge of microcontrollers/Arduino and embedded systems knowledge. We want the programming for collision avoidance using data from proximity sensors. E.g proximity sensor rotates, sensing distance between itself and obstacles. The code should detect the areas where there is no obstacle and indicate the the best direction to take depending on the body's destination. something link this but if possible with 3D avoidance; meaning able to travel above or below, left or right..

Hi, I have experience with arduino and sensors. I can make your project with 2d scan but for 3d It will need lots of hours to develop. Are you using a drone for that? Feel free to ask me any questions Best regards, Nélio Oliveira

Already done projects that make use of proximity sensors such as infrared and ultrasound technology. Such sensors were used in implementing robotic application such as object follower. Worked with arm microcontrollers and c c++ programming languages

I have project experience working on embedded C code on both arduinos and the raspberry pi micro processor. I would be able to take data from proximity signals and turn that into directional data to be used. See my portfolio for more information.

I have executed a lot of embedded system projects with various kinds of sensors (including HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensors) and intend to develop very compact, well commented and efficient code designed for 3D obstacle detection and collision avoidance. The algorithm and the MCU's work cycle will be designed to be energy efficient (in consideration of the fact that systems requiring collision avoidance are mostly mobile battery powered and having a limited energy source). Another aspect I intend to monitor,in the code, is the precision of the servo that will actuate the rotation of the proximity sensor. This is because such systems tend to accumulate error over time unless there is a sensor or feedback through which certain fixed points in the range of motion are determined. Depending on your choice of sensor and processor, I plan to make use of a smart and feasible choice of processor peripherals and agorithm in executing the project. Let's get talking and doing stuff!
