I have worked on genetic algorithm before. I am profound with python language. I have used the genetic algorithm to train neural networks ( The NEAT ALGORITHM ). So, in my opinion, using genetic algorithm for binary values would be a piece of cake. I will write the code in an object-oriented manner with comments so that it could be extended for other applications also.
