Project description: Design a Schematic + PCB layout in Altium Designer (license can be provided) of a module containing: 1. wide input voltage ADC (+-10V) 2. positive&negative 15V voltage supply for precise magnetic field sensor 3. Positive 15V supply for precise magnetic field sensor 4. 2x mezzanine connectors for embedded module (library will be provided to the engineer). SPI ports from ADC, etc. will have to be connected to those mezzanine connectors. 5. 5V out low noise power supply for the embedded system (300mA average output current with 1A peak), 24V in. Routed to mezzanine connector. Design requirements: 1. PCB: - max 4 layers - 1.2mm FR4 - gold plated or HASL with lead - passive component size 0402 or bigger - dimesnions as small as possible, a dxf shape will be proposed - 6mil min. distances and tracks - 0.3mm min. drills - all power supply and ADC components should be on one side of the PCB and the embedded module will be on the other. 2. Schematic - hierarchical design - every component should have a 3D model - every passive component should have an exact product number (instead of just a value) - all components should be rated AEC-Q200 - all capacitors should have flex termination - usage of EMI reducing components like ferrite beads, fliter and common mode chokes is welcome - external connections should be ESD protected - all parts should be available at: [login to view URL], [login to view URL] or [login to view URL] 3. ADCs: - minimum 16bits, preffered 24 bits - +-10V Differential input - at least 4 differential channels should be routed to JST-PA series horizontal SMD connectors - at least 80Hz of sampling rate - SPI interface - high input impedance - if possible an external temperature calibrated voltage reference should be used (if it will provide better performance than the internal one) - maybe AD4116/AD7734 could be used? 4. Power supplies: - as low noise as possible (it will affect magnetic field measurements) 5. Additional notes: - voltage supply for the whole board = 24V DC - if possible all voltage converters should work with up to 36V input - embedded module library with mezzanine connectors will be provided to the winning engineer Magnetic sensors: - Geometrics MFAM (9-16 DCIN, SPI interface) - Sensys FGM3D +-100uT (+-15V DC IN, analog output +-10V)

Hi, I am a Hardware Engineer with more than 5 years of experice in the whole production cycle of prototypes, from designing schematics and PCB to fabrication and validation. I consider myself a good candidate for this projects, as i have mixed signal design experience. I have been working with Altium Designer (i own a licence) all along my professional carrer. From your description i guarantee the compliance of aspects 1 and 2. Your PCB and schematics requirements are very clear. Making a brief resume of what i understand, you need to read, at least, 4 analog inputs from sensor FGM3D with a signal swing of +-10V (i understand the outputs are not differential ). These inputs will be connected through a JST connector and to an ADC ( AD7734 seems a good choice) to communicate with a uc based module though SPI. Another sensor will be connected through SPI. Power rails for the module, sensors and ADC must be implemented from a 24V to 36V DC in, assuring low noise for sensible components.
