First, I will need a copy of the PDF document. Upon receiving the document, I will save a copy on my computer and make a backup copy. Next, I will open the PDF document in a program such as Adobe Acrobat or a Google Chrome browser to view the contents of the PDF document. I will then open a new document in Google Docs and begin transcribing the text from the PDF as it is. I will pay attention to the formatting of text including bold, italics, font size, paragraph alignments, and page numbers. I will ensure accuracy of the transcription by using the copy and paste functions of the program. Lastly, I will make sure the pagination matches the original document to ensure accuracy by using the page edit tools.
Once the transcription is complete I will create a a table of contents page, and add the page numbers as they appear in the PDF document. The final step of the project is to verify the accuracy of the transcription. For this, I will use the compare and contrast feature in Google Docs to verify the accuracy of the transcription against the original copy.
Once the accuracy is verified, I will deliver the document to you for review and approval.
