Need a MSSQL expert to help me receive and restore an MSSQL data dump in .Bak format, extract and convert the database, and advise me re user-friendly applications for using the data for clinical research

Reduced because I no longer seek help to learn MSSQL. Instead, simply advice re selecting an appropriate user-friendly application for querying the data. UPDATED PROJECT DESCRIPTION: l am a retired physician, fairly tech savvy for my age (learned assembler language back in the late 60's, and then no computer use at all until the mid 80s, only as user), with access to my old electronic medical records and files, and want to use the data for some clinical research. The EMR company can provide the MSSQL/MYSQL data dump to my server in .BAK or SQL format, using Azure. I still have my office server, with MSSQL installed and running, and 532 GB of free space. which I've been assured is more than sufficient. I'll need help with receipt, recovery, extraction and conversion of the database, an appropriate schema, as well as advice regarding user-friendly higher level applications for using this data for clinical research. UPDATED DESCRIPTION OF WHAT The EMR company is providing: "A one time unencrypted database dump, all EHR data (including structured and free-text notes associated with a patient’s chart) will be part of the unencrypted copy of the database backup. This option is provided in a relational database machine-readable format (.BAK file format for MSSQL and .SQL file format for MYSQL). eCW would not be providing any table-level information nor any schema neither would be assisting in data extraction . It will solely be the responsibility of the practice to extract the data. If the data is less than 50 GB, data will be delivered via sFTP. If the data is 50 GB or more, data will be shared via Azure. I thus seek an IT expert #1. for whom the technical aspects of this job are simple, straightforward and easy: Specifically, (1.a) to assure that my MSSQL server is properly set up to receive the data, and then (1.b) restore, extract and convert the database to a logical schema for my research, and, just as importantly #2. who can help me select a user-friendly higher level application for using the MISSQL relational database for my retrospective clinical research. #3. who can explain, teach and clarify in plain language with minimal jargon. I no longer expect to learn MSSQL as originally stated for this project 7 July. Once I have installed an appropriate user-friendly application for querying the database, I expect I will not need a DBA for ongoing support with my research. If I do, that would be a separate job, not part of this project. UPDATED TIMELINE I will select a freelancer on or before 14 July.* I will put you in touch with the EMR company's project manager for this job. Your early work will be to assure my server is prepared to receive the data, but then there will be no work until late August. The EMR company will provide the dump sometime in late August. At that point you'll be responsible for recovery, extraction and conversion of the database. Once the data is delivered, the EMR compan practice must validate the data and provide feedback within 2 weeks. After you see what the database they've provided looks like, and how you might convert it, we'll engage in the selection of an appropriate user-friendly application I can use to query the database for my clinical research. I will be available until 20 Sept for this discussion, decision and initial look at the third party application. *I I'm unable to make a selection by 14 July, I will close this project and reopen it 28 July for a decision 4 August 2023.
