I am looking to create an application to manage the odds in a tennis match. They will change in the software by me manually changing the scores of each player as the match progresses. If you are familiar with markov chain models this will be of much benefit in this project.
Also there must be a refresh button,as in the software also we must connect to the Betfair Api,this is where we will get the current odds on offer for a particular match and then the function of the software is to produce true actual odds from the markov chain model which in turn lets me spot any difference in the odds.
The key skills to the winning bidder are to be familiar with odds and probability and the betfair api...
Hi,
I am an expert in Mathematics and Programming.
Well knowledgeable in Markov processes as well.
Please provide me complete details about the software you need.
Do you have developed Mathematical model or Should I develop the Mathematical model?
Looking forward to hear from you.
Thank you.
I'm familiar with the betfair API and am currently finishing a project using it (https://www.freelancer.com/projects/software-development/Sports-Software-Program.html).
It's currently in the testing phase and I could send you a copy of that program to prove my ability.
I'm also a very good pure mathematician, although I would expect you to provide a suitable white paper with a method to replicate if I was to carry out this work.
It would be good to hear from you, this sounds like an interesting project

Hi, Friend.
I think I can help you.
I have not worked with betfair, but I study now it and know it uses the JSON for communication.
I have enough experience in JSON.
Also I have knowledge about markov models.
So I think I can complete your task.
Thanks.
Hello. More 20 years mathematics and programming experience.
There are many details to discuss and only after we can think how to set real time and price.
First question: you think about windows, linux or another environment?
Regards.
Hi,
I'm familiar with Markov Chain models and have recently refreshed my understanding of them as a prelude to an Information Theory course that I'm taking. I have a good background in engineering and theoretical computer science level mathematics.
I intend to use Python for this project as it reduces the amount of boilerplate required when writing this kind of numerical computing code. This can be packaged into a standalone windows application without any trouble.
I'm looking forward to working on this project with you.
Cheers,
Calin
