I'm a director of a local marketing agency and we require Facebook advertising accounts for our business (Facebook calls it a Business Manager). Anyone with a Facebook account can set up an advertising account and we are compensating anyone who isn't using their Business Manager and would allow us access. There is nothing illegal or shady at all, and your personal info will not be compromised. There are limits to how many Business Manager accounts Facebook allows individuals & businesses at any one time and we need more to keep growing our business.
