Hi, I'm Rohan, and I'm ideally suited to developmentally edit your YA novel. To start with, according to your brief (800 pages, 220 words/page) the book would be approximately 1,76,000 words in length. That's WAY too big a book for a debut author, especially in the YA niche with no prior publications. That's not me speaking, that's the industry. Agents and publishers are extremely dubious of accepting manuscripts that are any more than 80,000 words in length, coming from debut authors. As such, I believe the book will either need to be cut down considerably, or you might have to consider breaking it into two complete "parts".
