My Life Coaching Practice is titled New Life Emergence. The core of this work is the idea that we have the opportunity to embrace the darkness, pain and suffering in our relationships and when we do, these experiences are what lead us into the evolution of our Authentic Self and our New Life Emergence. My focus is on Relationship Issues i.e. Divorce and Break-Ups. These experiences can be devastating, challenging, and painful- but they can also be transformational, revealing, healing and empowering. I teach people that if they have the right tools, they can then cultivate the skill and the awareness needed to see these experiences through a learning lens, or if they can approach them with a "learning orientation", it is possible to see these challenges as blessings. Challenges mirror to us what is unresolved in our consciousness- and when cleared, it leads to the natural growth and unfolding of our New life Emergence. Most people have built up inner walls, and are operating under a faulty psychological program which makes life harder in that they experience more upsets, feelings of unworthiness, negative self talk, and confusion. My aim as a Professional Life Coach is to assist people going through relationship challenges to see that these challenges may be used in service to them, and may serve as rungs on the ladder toward their personal growth, learning, and healing- thus their New Life Emergence. I assist people to lean into their issues because that is where learning and healing are. Our issues and unresolved material carry a great deal of information about our relationship with ourselves, and it is from the healing which begins here with ourselves- where we break down the walls and let the Authentic Life, Voice, and Self-Expression Emerge. Think of a tulip bulb. A tulip bulb needs to be completely submerged in cold and darkness for a period of time before it will sprout a new life and eventually grow into the beautiful and poised tulip. Darkness is Essential. When it is embraced, it acts like a cocoon, letting us formulate, heal, regenerate and gather the strength to let the completely new Life Emerge. As people, it is important for us to also embrace the pain, darkness and suffering. It is the fertile ground for which we can renew ourselves and let the New Life Emergence begin. New Life Emergence grows from what is authentically in a person’s heart. Living a totally Authentic Life looks like a person living their dreams, doing what is meaningful and heartfelt to them, and doing that no matter what. When a New Life Emergence begins, you may not recognize yourself and everything in your life may be different than before. Often times our Authentic Self has been holding back for so many years that when we clear the blocks and break down the walls, we feel a surge of inspiration, empowerment, and excitement which is fuel for us to now live into Spiritual Ecology. That is, if a pine cones Spiritual Ecology is a Pine tree, our New Life Emergence gives way to fulfilling our highest, most unique potential as well. I also like the analogy of the caterpillar inside of its damp, dark chrysalis- and emerging into the beautiful, multi-colored butterfly.
