Overhaul Websites

Hi, I’m Ty. I am an author, who runs a large website which houses some of my literature. This website is currently divided into a main hub, and then split into different subdomains for each story. All the stories on this site have a continuous storyline in my literary universe. First and foremost, the structure runs like this: Hub: [login to view URL] Literature sites: [login to view URL] The Hub includes a forum, at /svforums (a myBB forum), as well as my personal blogs. In addition, it functions as a general announcement section for my community as a whole. The whole network of websites runs off of WordPress. Users currently require two accounts, a forum one, and a WordPress one to comment on my story chapters. This system is becoming cumbersome and inefficient. As part of a revival to rebuild my community, I plan to have our entire network of websites and internal system restructured. The main sticking points for the redesign are: 1) Unified Global Layouts across sites, but with each site having a distinct “flavor” and style to it. 2) Simplified, easy to use navigation system reflecting a modern site UI. (flat design) 3) Global user accounts to be used cross forum and chapter commenting. 4) Organized central hub, with distinct community announcement section and author’s corner. The hub theme should share similar themes to the sub site themes. 5) Stories organized into an easy to read and follow format, for new users. (stories span several subdomains.) Please pitch possible solutions to the website network redesign. The best solution will be chosen and I will work with you closely on my vision for this project.
