Ionic corodova plugin to connect the native phone book

Hi We are building an app in Ionic platform, in one of the use case we want the user to display the contact from the native phone directory (android and IOS), and show the contact to the user to select and proceed. Problem statement - corodova connection to native phone book and loading the contacts takes more than 10 secs and it is impacting the user experience. The solution required - the contact should be loaded for the user selection less than 4 seconds. We need clear documentation on the customer plugins.
