I have an openCV project that is working but needs some tweaking to fine tune it.
The project is running and working on the iPhone. To work on this app you will need an iPhone, preferably 4, because it does not run in XCode due to it using the phone camera.
The iPhone app is a simple UI with a few screen, nothing complicated, see the attached.
A C++ module is associated with this. This module is the openCV stuff.
There are some HaarCascades in that project, but I think not enough to have a high enough accuracy rate. Mainly I want to add additional HaarCascades to the app which should be easy as these are already part of the openCV project as I understand. In summary, I just want to achieve slightly better detection rates.
Once this is finished, the next project it to convert to Android so if you also have Android experience that would be good, but not essential.
The main task right now is to fine tune the iPhone version.
