The job will be done by porting exsiting code of the whatsapp plugin for pidgin to Java, will support only text.

Hi, Let me clear one thing, the core application will be in PHP and it can then be used to push messages into a MySQL DB, and then can be used by JAVA. I'm clearing this because there's no API for JAVA. only PHP and Python exists. What you want is possible since both PHP and JAVA can use same database. Let us know if you want the task done.
