I want to create a script that I can monitor a number that is continuously changing and have the script inform me when the number has gone up a certain percentage and then after it has gone up, I want it to inform me when it drops down a different percentage. The idea is for the script to monitor a stock that I buy and have it automatically sell if it reaches a checkpoint I deem suitable and drops own from that checkpoint to a previous checkpoint. I have the basic layout of the script, but it its likely my layout is inefficient and will not produce the desired outcome.
