I am looking for a freelancer who can create a MATLAB code for calculating the bandgap value of Type-II Superlattices (T2SLs) with different Mono Layers (MLs) using the Superlattice Empirical Pseudopotential Method (SEPM). The freelancer should have semiconductor physics background and ability to understand the bandgap calculation methods of T2SL semiconductors. The desired outcome of the code is to accurately calculate the bandgap value that is given in the reference article. The method (SEPM), equations, necessary parameters and the results are also described in the article. All I need is a MATLAB Code using the same formula (SEPM). I also need to run the code in my computer and see the same results as in the article. The project has two steps as described in the reference article, First step, a MATLAB code for the bandgap calculation of bulk GaAs by Empirical Pseudopotential Method (EPM).The same necessary parameters such as g vectors and pseudopotential form factors should be used which are given in the reference article. Second step, Extention to superlattices and Type-II InAs/GaAs structures part of the referenced article. A MATLAB code for the bandgap calculation of a two-component superlatice by SEPM . The MATLAB code should calculate the subband energies and dispersions for 6 ML/6 ML, 7 ML/7 ML, 9 ML/9 ML, and 16 ML/16 ML InAs/GaSb superlattice structures grown on GaSb substrates, each operated nominally at 77 K. The pseudopotential form factors listed in Table IV should be used for the calculation. Phys.86 1420 (1999) Requirements: - Calculate the bandgap value with high precision - Provide detailed comments within the code for better understanding - Include a brief report that explains the code and the bandgap calculation process Ideal skills and experience: - Proficiency in MATLAB programming - Knowledge of semiconductor superlattices, bandgap calculation for T2SL using SEPM - Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver precise results
