Our client a paint manufacturer and retailer requires a mobile application to be used across android, ipad, iphone and blackberry’s. The app should be user friendly and easy to navigate. All data should be drawn from the same SQL Server database that populates the website and should have an update data button which the user can selectively use to refresh the data stored on the mobile device. Similar iPhone apps you could look at to get an idea of requirements include Colorix (for the color visualiser section) Colorimeter (for live color chooser) Plascon (for identify color, guide and colours) Benjamin Moore – Color Capture (for choosing color from a pic, color cards) Benjamin Moore – ProConnection (Very good example of Product Information and store locator) The app should include the following sections Color chooser to select a color from a photo or from the standard NCS color pallet Product Chooser to select a product by range or application (ie interior or exterior) Store Locator to find your nearest store For further information please email me.
