create mysql table with point in polygon lookup

I have MySQL running with MyIsam which supports Spatial indexes. I have a number of areas defined by large polygons with a set of lat, lon points for each polygon. My objective is to save each area with the polygon in a table and subsequently send a query to search which areas have a point (lat, lon) inside the polygon. The query needs to be super fast ( < 0.05 sec), inserting doesn't need to be so fast. You have the following tasks: 1) Create a query to build the table. The table will have following columns: id, name, polygon (polygon defined by latitude, longitude coordinates like: lat1 lon1, lat2 lon2, ... 2) An example query to insert 3 rows into the table. which also updates the index from 3). 3) Create a spatial index on the table on for fast point in polygon search. 4) Provide two example sql queries: 1 to get rows for 1 point (provided by latitude, longitude) and 2 to get rows for multiple points where each returned row has the original points in it so that we know which point returned wich rows. Please provide sql statements needed for each task above.
