Listing InfoPosition DescriptionWe are currently looking for a well-rounded Technical Consultant: a backend Software Engineer who will be responsible for all technical aspects (design and integration) of our customer [login to view URL] role also involves technical interaction with clients, the ability to understand customer requirements, identify potential complexities and come up with well thoughts through technical solutions. You are back end specialist who enjoy working on a wide range of technologies and on multiple projects at the same time. You will work from our Barcelona office with an international team of Project Managers, Knowledge Engineers and Technical Consultants. The Position Will Focus UponIdentifying technical customer requirements, translating them into specifications to develop an efficient solution integration. Documenting the functional specifications and solution designs. Working across different projects in a wide range of technologies in all aspects of the process, including some hands on coding   Position RequirementsPrevious Experience And Technical SkillsMinimum 5 years’ experience as a back-end software engineer ideally within a consultancy company Previous customer facing experience  In particular, you will have good command of most of the below areas/technologies A minimum of 5 years development experience within Java Web/Enterprise projects; Experience with Groovy will be a plus; Experience with application servers such as Tomcat and Glassfish; Experience with Web Services (REST/SOAP)   Personal SkillsDoer’s attitude, able to quickly grasp, understand and learn new technical skills and programs Capable of identifying needs and business value solutions for clients Able to work well both alone and within a larger team Proactive, adaptable and able to multitask without losing efficiency  LanguagesFluency in English, both verbally and in writing, is a MUST High command of one or more other European languages will be an important plus  What We OfferOutgoing, flexible and international work environment Competitive base salary plus an interesting packaging along with a healthy work-life balance A place in a skilled international team with a well-oiled agile approach to project methodologies Diverse and challenging tasks, with a lot of opportunities for learning and self-growth Application Instructions Please send us your CV in English by applying through our career page.-
