Engineer Needed to Design IoT Module and Enclosure

Overview Terra Scout is an IoT "brain" for e-scooters that includes an Advanced Rider-Assistance System (ARAS). The ARAS provides the ability to prevent sidewalk riding, validate parking, detect falls, and precisely track. The unit incorporates a rich sensor suite powered by powerful edge computing. This version is a quick-turn prototype intended for feature demonstration and marketing. Tasks -Determine the battery and any power management. -Layout the connections for all components. - Design an enclosure that encapsulates all of the components. Requirements -The battery MUST supply 5V and 3A. -The battery SHOULD provide at least 6 Ah. -The battery SHOULD be swappable. -The enclsoure MUST be able to mount and unmount by a single user in the field with minimal tools required. -The enclosure MUST include all components listed in the Components section. -The enclosure MUST attach rigidly to the steering column (ranging from 3 to 5 inches in diameter) of an e-scooter and withstand stresses from self tapping screws without fracturing. -The battery and power management MUST be contained within the system. -The left camera MUST be angled 45 degrees to the left of the forward direction of travel. -The right camera MUST be angled 45 degrees to the right of the forward direction of travel. -The enclosure MUST include a lens hood for each camera. -The LEDs MUST face upwards such that they are visible to the rider. -Enclosure MUST be designed for eventual injection molding with glass filled nylon (Hytrel, etc). Near term prototyping and production will be done with a MJF 3D printing process. Consultant MUST use Fusion 360 to design enclosure. -The interanl components MUST be accessible for debugging. -The enclosure MAY have an ethernet port exposed for debugging. Components -1x Jetson Nano Dev Kit including heat sink. -2x Camera module AR0135 camera board USB shield M12 Lens -1x IMU -3x LED -1x Hologram Nova LTE dongle Notes -Battery and power management The GPIO Header on the nano has two 5V pins, each can accept up to 3 amps. The micro USB cannot be used because it only supplies 2 amps. -Mounting Some ideas we have include a rubber clamp and pipe offset clamps
