You should know there are 3 custom modules, I suspect may need some fixing as not searching, my client is totally pissed off as you can see from notes. this job is for a total fix of all issues, no milestones will be made but will give escrow. A partial fix means nothing is paid has to be fully working 100% complete to all these issues. PLUS update 1.5 to 1.7, I can provide a site installed for you to do testing on or tar present site for your work ======== EMAILS FROM CLIENT DESCRIBING ISSUES you can see site at <http://www.mcgift.com/> ======== I am finding the same "quirkyness" with it than on our live site. I created new articles, inserted images, tried the SEF plug in, created a new dive expedition (which is the customized VCP Travel module, which is giving us so much headaches). For example: I can insert images into all articles, regardless whether they are in the VCP Travel module, or in the article manager. But - resizing and aligning them, is a hit and miss in the VCP Travel module. It works in the destination Philippines, but it does not work in the dive expedition Fabulous Fiji. I can't figure it out! If up go to article manager and select image..... its impossible to select images last week I could see them, BUT not get them to go to the position of left right center. The way I have been told to insert images into an article is opening the Ajax file manager. Normally this opens the various folders where the images where saved to, when uploading them through the Media Manager. Today there are no files to be found in the Ajax file manager. I've closed and re-opened it - nothing. The images are there - I can see them through the Media Manager, but I cannot insert them into an article. Not sure if your upgrade a little while ago maybe affected the Ajax file manager? Now I have an issue again with aligning images on the site - right click an image I inserted, let's say on the Philippines expeditions...and you'll see what I mean. Improve inserting images. The media manager has a certain structure, but only images uploaded into the file “Stories” are available to being inserted in an article. There are 2 ways to insert images: at the bottom of an article (original Joomla feature) and through the wysiwyg toolbar. This is where currently the plug-in "CKFinder2" is installed (only a demo version). I can upload to it, but not insert the images. When configuring inserted images through right mouse click/image properties, I only have left or right available for alignment. I believe previously through the plug-in I also had center, top, bottom etc as an option. Allow linking to pdf's. I can upload pdfs through either of the above options, but don't seem to be able to link to them. The search function on our website does not include any of the pages under the "VCP travel" component. That means, no destination, liveaboard, dive expedition, resort or fishtale can be searched!!! None of the pages set up under VCP Travel component have the option of applying parameters, meta tags, “finish publishing by”....basically all I can do is save it. A lot of the joomla options are not available. It also seems that the URLs for the pages created under VCP Travel Component all need to be manually changed to SEF URLs. All other articles created under the article manager automatically have a SEF URL. When clicking on a link within an article, should this open in a separate window? Or should we have a “back” button? Also, I noticed that the search function on our website does not include any of the pages under the "VCP travel" component. That means, no destination, liveaboard, dive expedition, resort or fishtale can be searched!!! For example, do a search for "Roatan". Only a news article I just posted comes up. But we do have a current expedition, the destination, a liveaboard, and all should come up in the search. That is really not good! In addition, none of the pages I am setting up through the VCP Travel component have the option of applying parameters, meta tags....basically all I can do is save it. So a lot of the joomla options are not available. Don't like that either.
