ASP.NET 3-Tier CSLA.NET Application

We need a small order tracking applicaiton written using [login to view URL], Visual Studio 2010 C# and ASP.NET Web forms. We are providing a requirements document, a basic class diagram, and a database model which should help lower the cost of this project and speed up its development. Attached now are the requirements document, database model, standards document, and a solution with the start of a screen prototype. In particular pay attention to the information in the file called 'FiberNet Project [login to view URL]' The screens that have been provided are "prototypes". This means that they are to serve as an example. They are currently in a initial/primitive form, and should not be considered complete. The prototypes are for you to use to understand and confirm requirements prior to starting development. You are expected to use your experience to tailor the prototype according to the unknowns still present in the FiberNet design. I would suggest that you create a working prototype that will link all of the pages together. You would do this without database access. You would just be hard-coding values and linking all of the controls and pages together. This will help you learn the requirements of the application, and to finalize the designs of the screens. ## Deliverables Other project requirements are attached to this bid request. You will need to do the following with the existing screen prototypes: - Change the data grids on the current screens and use the Infragistics data grid - Change the combo boxes on the current screens and use the Infragistics combo boxes - Change the javascript date picker controls with the Infragistics date picker controls - Determine if other Infragistics controls should be used to enhance the user experience (treeview, text box, buttons, etc.) - Expand the screen width from 1024 to 1280 - Clean up or create new CSS, while keeping the same overall screen design and style (colors, fonts, header, etc.). The CSS was put together very quickly for prototyping purposes. It should be re-done or you should start over with new CSS to make it cleaner and easier to maintain. - Use AJAX - If an Infragistics data grid is too wide to fit on the 1280 screen, you will need to add a horizontal scroll bar to the Infragistics data grid - Add a filter to columns on the Infragistics data grids so that a customer can filter the rows displayed by the filter entered - Make sure certain controls are enabled/disabled, made visible/invisible, depending on which order type is selected, which user is signed on, etc. - With the Infragistics controls, you might choose to use the Infragistics skinning, instead of doing it with the existing CSS - Create master page to be used for all ASP .Net pages I'm sure there will be other things that you will need to update on the screens that we are providing, which is why I'm suggesting you first work towards a working prototype before you begin writing any code that reads/writes from the database.
