Programming on OS Kernel. An OS kernel is the bare-bone of an OS software (OS is a software like any .exe file you build using C++ or any compiler / linker tool). There are at least three different ways you can build an OS kernel (choose one) I decided to choose 1 because it is the easiest. Here is # 1. Run a simulated enivronment with an OS, as follings as a guideline or a simliar approach: cout << " This is a simulation operating system \n" << " 1 - Memory Management System\n" << " 2 - I/O System \n" << " 3 - File management System \n" << " 4 - Programs \n" << " 5 - Shut down OS \" The minimun specifications requiered for an OS kernal are: 1. A Scheduler (a while loop possible that schedules time for different processes) 2. At least two processes and at least one process with multi-thread. 3. Some Memory management scheme. 4. Some disk scheduliing scheme. 5. Some files and file systems. An output mechanism (such as cout, printf) may be needed so as to trace where the OS is now. Add a few other mechanism only when doable or source code available (suc as the command parser handling input from the keyboard). That will be it. Thanks
