PHP Tutorial, MySQL DB and REPORTS.

Hi all, I was asked if I wanted to do a short tutoral on php. I am hoping to get some help from you coders, ok, do the time consuming part. I need a tutorial written. You can do it all in a txt file if it is easier for you. I need a mysql table with some info: id timestamp (when entered) comments (less then 255 chars) I then need code to run reports based on time. A drop down with Today, Yesterday, This week, This month, This year, All). Then generate the data in a nice clean output (tables?). Also, with the sql format, maybe 20 or so dummy data records with various dates? No need to worry about it looking professional, just all the code, a little about what is going on and good comments should be enough for me to work on. Thanks! Please ask questions if you have any. Anything more is a plus!
