Website that will allow me as the administrator to post events and limit registrations for each event to a specified number of men and women. If the event is full the user will have the option of joining the wait list. All vistors to the website will be able to see the event details but not who is registered for them. Events will be searchable two ways: by age group and by venue/restaurant. Once a user logs into the website they will be able to see the usernames of those who have rsvp'd to the events, as well as those on the wait list, and a thumbnail photo if the user has one on their profile. The user can then click on the username to view the full profile. Profiles include 5-10 fields, text box, and optional photo. There will be 3 levels of membership: free (cannot view profiles), website memberships (monthly, quarterly, or annual rates), and full memberships (annual only). Free members and website members will be required to pay a fee when registering for events. Full members will be able to register for most events without paying a fee but some will have a special fee. Shopping cart must support PayPal Website Payments Pro as it's merchant account. Users will be able to use one login for both profile access and payment. A mailing list feature will be included allowing me to send emails based on various criteria in the profiles (example men only born between certain years) or to all. Visitors can join the email list without registering on the site. But all site registrants will automatically be put on the email list (with opt out option). Users cannot contact eachother until after an event. Once the event has concluded the attendees will have the ability to request communication with others who attended the same event. The recipient of this request can accept or decline communication. See [login to view URL] for an explanation of what we do. I want the look to be classier, more professional, a bit sexy but upscale.
