EXM Holdings, a USA Delaware Corporation, is seeking qualified and experienced contractor(s) to produce a set of small websites that will make heavy use of Flash content. These sites will be used as a demand generation and marketing tool for a new lifestyle business. These projects will consist of two parts, a front facing web portal in hmtl and flash as well as a server side portion to control the issue of user ids and pass codes as well as for the automatic sending of hmtl email invitations. Flash has been selected due to its unique abilities to display web content and prevent that content from being captured, exported or printed. All design and graphic work has already completed, this is essentially a coding assignment only. ## Deliverables Web Portal The first site that is the subject of this specification will consist of the following web elements: 1. A login page that people will use to gain access to the site through a start button that will also have a sound that plays when the button is clicked. 2. A page that will contain a set of 9 Flash screens that will also have navigation buttons, audio on / off button and a music track that will be looped 3. An invitation page that viewers will use to allow friends to gain access to the site and a send button to send that information to the server side. 4. An administrators Login and Reporting page for accessing and downloading data from the database. All of the above must be developed in the Adobe Suite Apps, preferably Photoshop CS3, Illustrator CS3, Flash CS3 and Dreamweaver CS3. Adobe GoLive is not an option for these projects Server Side As a part of the micro site there will need to be a server side solution for the following: 1. The ability to restrict access to authorized users only who have a valid user id and pass code that the system will also automatically assign. 2. An ability to receive names and emails from the invitation page and automatically assign a pass code to the corresponding email, each person email will serve as their user id. 3. An ability to populate and send a preconfigured html email to each person invited that also will contain his or her user id and pass code. 4. The creation of a MySQL database as well as an ability to export data from the database from the web portal into Excel. Functionality and Process The Landing or Log in page will have two text boxes for the entry of the user id and pass code as well as the Start button that when clicked a sound will play. As the user loads this first page we would like the Flash presentation to begin downloading. As we change to the second page where the Flash presentation is played we are having eight static screens, in that there is no motion, just text and graphics. A ninth screen will have a set of six columns that will contain text and graphics that will need to slowly loop with the page as it is being viewed. We will also have a forward and reverse buttons as well as a home button and a progress bar that will show the viewer where in the presentation that are. We will also have an audio track playing throughout the presentation that can be turned off by the viewer via the audio on / off link. Rather than having the entire Flash presentation load at once we would prefer each screen to load as the previous is being viewed to preserve the user experience. As the Flash presentation ends and the Forward button is pushed by the user the Invitation Page will then load as an html page. The viewer can then chose or not chose to invite others via the Send button or they may select the End Button that will return them to our home page. IT Hosting and Technology EXM uses GoDaddy as its’ exclusive hosting provider and all technologies used in this project must be supported by them. GoDaddy provides access to the MySQL database as part of their hosting services. This can be hosted on the Windows platform with either ColdFusion or ASP.net or on Linux under Python, ColdFusion, Ruby, PHP, Perl or Java. As we are standardized on Adobe we apps we would prefer ColdFusion but are open to other alternatives. Elements Provided by EXM 1. A PDF file that shows how the final site should look, this is provided below for bidding purposes. 2. A Photoshop CS3 file that in layers that for the base page layouts. 3. A Set of Illustrator CS3 files for each of the nine Flash Screens. 4. All graphics used both in their original size as well as optimized versions for this project 5. All sound and music files, fully licensed that are to be used in this project. 6. A text file in MS Word that will also have all of the text for each of the pages and the Flash screens. Elements Provided by the Contractor 1. You must provide your own development hardware and software licenses for any portion of this project not provided by our hosting partner GoDaddy. EXM will not provide any access to developmental licenses for development and deployment. 2. You may either host this on your developmental environment with EXM having unrestricted access via user id and pass code or on our hosting account. If the later we will need to first execute a user id and pass code for the development site which the remainder if being built. This would essentially be our production server, as we do not maintain a development environment. 3. You will also provide all required personnel for this project, EXM will make its staff available as needed to assist the contractor in the development, testing and deployment phases. 4. A project plan with phases and deliverables that are agreeable to EXM, payments will also be tied to milestones in this project. * * *This broadcast message was sent to all bidders on Sunday Jul 20, 2008 2:53:08 PM: Sending a reminder to all bidders on our project that we are one week away from closing the bids on this project.
