This is pretty simple project.
There's 5 steps.
1. take parameters from jsp page (see screenshot)
2. retrieve data (mysql) based on criteria on jsp page
- data in table is in xml (but i have the code to break it into individual fields)
3. The xml will be separated into different fields and an arraylist needs to be created for every field. So if 45 rows were retrieved and there are 8 fields. Then there should be 8 arraylists, each containing 45 elements.
4. Next the arraylist will be fed to a createWordList method. That method will parse the data for that field. Then it will count the number of times a word was used.
For example. One of the fields is named toy. 3 responses could be: white car, red car, white house.
Based on the above, a hashlist should be created with 4 entries
white - 2 (it's used 2 times), car - 2, house - 1
- there will also be an exclusion word list and delimter list.
When you've completed parsing all the fields use logger( already installed on my website) to display the results.
That's it.
Your code should be well-tested, well documented and have no extra-long methods (modular code is preffered). You must get your code working on my website and use jdk 1.4
If interested please tell me:
How long it will take you to finish?
How much will cost?
