I am seeking a website development team to create a photo storage website similar to the following sites: [login to view URL], [login to view URL], or [login to view URL] The new site will incorporate the same features: uploading photos, enhancing photos, ordering prints and customized photo products from 3rd party vendor, and giving friends and family to ability to view photos through an e-mail invite. Here's how the site should function: Once logged into their profile, each member will have a world map visible on their main member page. Prior to any photos being uploaded, every continent on the map will display in the same, default color. When uploading photos, members will be required to click on a specific location on the map to zoom into the location they traveled to. Once they finish zooming into a specific location (i.e., North America, United States , New York ), they would then have the ability to upload photos. The zooming feature of the site will require that all continents, countries, states, etc. be entered into the system. I can seek the advice of a professional on this topic. For example, if a person travels to Egypt , they would first have to click on the continent of Africa . This would then zoom into Africa and allow a member to click Egypt to upload photos. Once the photos have been uploaded to Egypt , Egypt would then display in a different color on the map. Furthermore, text links will be available on the side on the map – should a user choose to navigate that way instead. Only the continents in which photos have been uploaded will appear as text links on the side. Members will be able to expand links, starting with the continent, to view and/or upload photos. Each new member to this site will be allotted so much free space, with additional space available for purchase. I would like an easy, fast process for members to upload photos - I don't want members to download any software necessary to upload photos, unless it is an added feature, similar to Studio v. 1.5 in shutterfly.com. Members should also be able to enhance (crop, add borders, add effects, etc.) and add captions to photos similar to the [login to view URL] website. Members should also have the capability to send an e-mail invite to friends and family. Each time new photos are uploaded, the member will have the ability to send out a new link to friends and family. This link will change each time new photos are uploaded, therefore making the link temporary. To avoid the inconvenience of sending out a link every time new photos are uploaded, members can join the Worldly Friend's & Family Plan. For a set fee (per year/per map), a Worldly Friend's & Family Plan will be available for members. This plan will allow unlimited shared access to family and friend's Worldly Travel maps through a member's login. (This feature is similar to the [login to view URL] website, in which members can view other friend's movie queues). This feature will become available to a member once they receive an invitation from another member. Members in the Worldly Friends & Family Plan will receive an e-mail notification directly from the website each time new photos are uploaded by a family or friend. If these e-mails become too annoying, the receiving user will have the capability to turn off the e-mail notices. Instead, should they wish to view their photos, when they log into their own profile, they will have tabs visible for each shared map (i.e., Sue's Map). A Worldly Multiple Users Plan will also be available for purchase and will include up to five family and friends on one shared WorldyTravels map, with the option to add additional users. Under this membership, each family and friend will receive their own login provided the primary user. Additional users can be added for a set fee. Each member sharing this map will have their own links on the side showing locations they traveled to. Plus, regions on the map will show in color, based on all the shared photos uploaded to the map. When uploading photos to a specific region, I would also like users to have the capability to add folders. Therefore, if someone travels to Florida (USA) quite often, they can create folders distinguishing the destination and date traveled (i.e., Orlando , FL 2006). This would also benefit users of the Worldly Multiple Users Plan – this way, someone could zoom into a region, such as Egypt , and be able to distinguish who uploaded photos to that region (i.e., Sue 2006), instead of having everyone's photos thrown into one area. Please note - the homepage will incorporate flash, transitioning 10 sets of photos (4 photos in each set). In addition to the five programming options was I allowed to check, programmers should also be familiar with CSS, XHTML, and XML. I would also need assistance on the website design.
