Website Enhancement

I have an existing site [login to view URL] and I want to add an RSS ticker to the right hand side using this code ([login to view URL]). My site uses Mootools javascript and so does this ticker. I'd like the RSS ticker to stick on the right hand side and the color to be configurable through some variable. The first column should also move to the left removing the gap between the heading and the lefthand side. There should be region on the right hand side where the ticker sits and like in the sample I've given you there should be 2 empty spaces where I could add HTML code or advertising blocks. The second page is similar except the RSS ticker is on the bottom. My current site uses PHP 5.x and MySQL but i think you only need to concentrate on the Javascript code. If there is any PHP coding it will be done by someone else I just need the CSS and javascript to function correctly.
