Joomla site is not working on new hosting - due to server problems

So we complete a joomla 2.5 site and our client is on some old linux hosting. We try everything but nothing works on his hosting and hosting company support is from like 3 decades. Now we need to make this work this site on his domain and we have just two things: 1. you can try to re upload and importing joomla site via database and ftp 2. or you can make htaccess to redireoct but to sub domain where we host it but when his domain is opened it should show that is on his domain (not real redirection) 3. Any other better idea is welcome!!! Total price $5 + bonus + best review
