I have a server hosted @ Rackspace that has a root level compromise. Due to this situation we are being forced to migrate to a new server. I need someone with extensive experience with Plesk, Postfix, MySQL, Apache and Fedora to assist with this migration. I anticipate having to start the migration on 5/28 and have it completed by 5/30. The migration will involve moving the 100 domains that I have hosted on the server including all SSL certs, websites, email accounts, MySQL databases, firewall settings, vhost files, etc. to ensure that the migration is seamless and works perfectly so that our clients do not experience any downtime in the move.
Hi,
Since your old server is running Fedora I guess that is the reason you got a root compromise. The new would be better running latest Debian or CentOS and latest Plesk.
I can do the migration for you fast and apply standard hardening to avoid these kind of compromises. I will also can set up a backup plan that would help you restore fast if anything happens.
On the new server there will be PHP version differences and some sites running old php code may not be compatible, those will need to be fixed by your developers.
Please let me know if you are interested. I can start right now.
Thanks
