10323 Simple UrbanDictionary Clone

This project is for the creation of a script which could be used to create an [login to view URL] like site. Users would be able to search entries and code would be provided for webmasters for definition of the day (which would be a randomly selected definition which is displayed on all pages that have the code -- a new word would be randomly selected every day), random definition (which would be selected at random each time the script was loaded) and for the most recently added word. Like on [login to view URL] there would be the browse by first letter function. There must be a page on which people could sign up to recieve daily emails of word of the day or get alerts whenever new definitions are added (this email would contain a list of newly added words since the last email. if no new words were added, an email would not be sent.) There would be an add a definition page. Users would be asked to enter: Word or Phrase: Definition: Example of Word or Phrase Used in a Sentence: Alternate Spellings: (Users would type in alternate ways in which the word could be spelled. The alternate spellings would be sepparated by comma or a comma followed by a space. The word would be added as the word or phrase as entered in the first box, and when users searched for it under one of the alternate spellings the would be taken to the page displaying the word entered in the first box.) Your Email Address: Before any words could be actually added to the dictionary, they would first be placed in a list in the password-protected admin panel. From there the admin must be able to edit the submissions made on the add page and accept them for publication or delete them. From the admin panel, the admin would also be able to send an email to all people signed up for the emails described above and all people who had submitted definitions. There would be unsubscribe pages for the emails. One page for unsubscribe from the daily emails, and a different page for unsubscribe from the emails sent from the admin panel.
