Widget Development For Web Branding

We are needing a widget setup for our new website for branding purposes. We took a shoot at creating it with current design team and they could do it correctly as it does not work on any social networking sites (myspace, facebook, etc.) Here is what he have thus far: [login to view URL] Our widget is suppose to dynamically update itself with events from our site. People are aable to search to do search form the widget as well, which opens up our site with proper search results.
