Automate email to website

I currently have a website that I host pictures of my daughters. Each day I upload a picture and a title for the image. Now that I have a phone that has a decent camera, I would like to have the ability to send an email to a specified email address - then, have a script check the email account and pull the date, subject and image and import it to my website/database. Currently the database is a very simple access database which contains the following fields: date image title image name If possible, I'd also like some code that would resize the image on the website (not before) so the size is consistent - this part would have nothing to do with the email automation. I have hosted servers on multiple platforms so we can code in any language. **** I realize I can do this using flickr, etc. but I'd like to do it on my own server ****
