visual studio installer admin rights problem

I have a small project I have created a setup and deployment project in Visual studio 2008. The msi file which is created after build is used to install a program. But I cannot install it when I am not logged in as administrator. 1)I need the install file to pop up a message to enter the admin user name and password so that it temporarily gives admin privileges. Or 2) Check if logged in as admin and pop a message saying you need to login as administrator to install the file. its just a simple change in the setup but I am not able to figure it out.
