I need a website using php/mysql that would allow a customer to login and open a trouble ticket. Enter the problem -- automatically have a time and date stamp.
Then, a return email will go to them telling them that we are looking over their ticket.
An email will come to us telling us that a ticket is open - by whom - what the problem is - and when they posted.
We then login to the admin page and we need to route the ticket to any number of our techs- via email.
The tech gets the message and rectifies the problem - logs in and closes the ticket. Email goes to client telling them that the ticket is closed and when -- email goes to site admin with same info.
Tracking on the admin page will track all tickets -- open/close time - time open -
