225768 Google Maps Application

Overview: Create a Google Maps API based on the criteria below and integrate a database that will easily manage and update the data being plotted. What is needed is an applicaton that takes data points from a database and plots them onto google maps, developers will use Google Maps API to develop this mashup. The data being plotted will be made up of housing sales data. The data being plotted will be updated weekly and the total aggregate number of data points being plotted will range in the 60,000 mark. Due to the large number of data points performance optimization techniques should be utilized. Having an efficient and seamless application is critical to the success of this project. The data provided will consist of Address, City, Province, Sale Price, and Sale Date. Data will be provided in a csv or xls format. The application should be developed with the intent of eventually integrating it with Drupal into an iframe. The application should be developed with the intent of eventually adding additional data fields (size, #beds, #baths) and upgrading the filters of the application. -must demonstrate a proficiency with Google Maps and MySQL, please provide examples (provide links or post a message) -bid only if you are capable of taking on this project and can complete in a timely fashion -must be able to communicate and inform on projects progress -full payment shall be paid upon successful testing and acceptance of the application (a basic contract will be drafted and signed before work commences)
