Modifications/enhancements to WP site (Job Manager)

We are a 501(c) nonprofit volunteer-based pet rescue organization providing temporary (foster) housing and matching dogs in need of a new home with prospective new owners. Our web site is based on WordPress and the adoption process is driven by a Job Manager plugin. The pet to be adopted is like a "job" and the prospective adoptor is like a "job applicant". The site has been in production for many years meeting basic needs and we want some small incremental changes.

Enhancements include:
1) Apply latest updates to WP core and installed plugins
2) Change title of main app (Adoption -> Adoption Application), displays as
"Job Application: Adoption Application", can we drop the "Job Application"
wording?
3) Change form component in application summary view. Last column currently labeled "Info" and populated with rating/email. Replace this with "Date of Birth" item from application data.
4) If possible modify page navigation - when viewing an application the "Back to Application List" would like to return to previous view/position within the list, not to the top of the list.
5) Many changes to form field contents:
a) Additional values for status field (for manager, after applicant submission):

b) New field within Personal Information as optional text input:
List other people living in the home (name, age, occupation)
c) Field under Foster Information for Vet should include 3 choices:
Current vet = then conditional logic to require Vet name and Vet number to be completed
Previous vet = then conditional logic to require Vet name and Vet number to be completed
No Vet - no additional information required
d) Delete fields for Groomer Name and Groomer Phone
e) Personal Reference section:
add wording to label so it reads as:
Personal Reference (at least one non-family member)
for each reference person include mandatory field "relationship"
f) Do you Own or Rent section:
if RENT is selected, create conditional field for
landlord name and phone number
g) Fix inconsistency between application submission view and manager view for adoption form;
the submitter inputs Pets In Home -> Dog Name // Cats in Home -> Name. The reviewer sees
items as "Dog Name" (for dogs) and "Name" (for cats). The cat items should be labeled clearly.
6) On Volunteer (Foster) Application there is a duplicate question, remove one instance:
"Do you have a fenced yard"
7) Top of page (frame header) has wide photo of "dirty dog", want to replace with
a new image. We are still deciding on content but need to know how to replace it. The path
appears to be /wp-content/uploads/2012/06/[login to view URL]
8) Manager using filters while reviewing pending application list does not persist, for example
a filter is applied and one of the applications is selected; upon returning to the
pending list the filters are reset to defaults. Can the filters remain in place at
least for the duration of the login session?
9) Search function does not work consistently, for example searching
by last name. Other searches do not work at all e.g. multiple items
(will provide more detailed demo / screen captures as needed)
I understand some of the dynamic/conditional inputs may not be
possible, open to suggestions how to implement these within
constraints of WP and the Job Manager plugin.
