Hi everyone, I am looking for a professional Joomla developer. My community [login to view URL] it is a highly customized version of Jomsocial Version: 2.8.4.2 in a Joomla! version, 2.5.19. I want to upgrade to the latest Joomla version and Jomsocial 4. Current functionality I want to keep: * personal blogs for users powered by k2 (integrated in wall of Jomsocial and notifications) *General blog (also powered with k2) * Q&A powered by community answers (integrated in wall of Jomsocial and notifications) * Current homepage structure *Friend suggest plug or replacement * some of the current style without modifying core functions in new version * chat functionality * adsence functionality (responsive units) * Same URL structure or proper rules set *custom emotion chart app (log in to check) work need to be done and fully tested apart from site, and changes need to be made live once the new site is fully tested. This is a live community of thousands of members, they can't lose their accounts or data. New site has to be made to be upgradable with minimal corrections every time jomsocial has a new version (of course technologies change but i want this taken into account while building). Hello, The Jomsocial version update need to be done with very much caution as the implications of the update might be very wide due to the version jump from 2.8 to 4.0 RC1. The Joomla updation also need to be done similarly. The customizations done earlier to the site need also to be propagated to the updated website. All the functionality as listed will be tested in the new updated version. Approximate time to complete the project: 30 - 35 days.. Thanks, Gopal
