Dear, How are you? My name is Laurent and I'm a certified cisco unified communication engineer. I maintain serveral cisco call manager cluster and some asterisk servers. I have cisco phones running on asterisks servers. 9971 sip phones where never designed to run on another server than CUCM but it is possible with some lose of features.
