Best solution would be to create such a function directly in the ATS. If the option above is not possible. A small desktop application could be created connected via ODBC to the SQL-Server of ATS (need to be checked, if direct access to SQL-Server is possible) with a file picker for incorrect email addresses and a textbox in which the variable note can be entered.

Hello, I'd like to help you on this! I understand the issue is you need a way to bulk-flag incorrect (bounced) addresses so that they can later be checked by staff and corrected/removed. I can implement this in multiple ways, either by adding a bit flag next to the email address - in your database - which would be the technically preferred way or if - as I think - this may possibly adversely affect your application, we may also use the original way you suggested, i.e. prepend the address with a predefined text that indicates incorrectness/need to check. I will: write a .net application that allows you to configure this above message and paste a list of email addresses (as a text file, one address per line or separated by a semicolon) and it will look at and amend any matches as described in the project bid request. Prior to getting down to developing anything I would like to quickly discuss the specifics with you in order to make sure we grasp every aspect and pick the most optimal solution. Hi my proposal is this. I will create an ssis package which will import the wrong emails in the database , make all the necessary updates and export an excel file with the wrong addresses. You can take the excel file and make all the corrections. After the corrections you will run another ssis package to import the excel into your DB which will make the updates to the emails. Detailed setps : export from outlook -> import to sql , updates , export error -> corrections -> import to sql , correct addresses. All the packages will run from sql server agent. For all this i will need 3 days. I have availability on this Weekend and i can deliver max on Monday the 29th. I will need the DB table and the export from your email. Solution to cover all mentioned requirements can be implemented as desktop application with one simple screen where will be possible: 1. Configure connection to ATS SQL Server. 2. Select Excel (or CSV on your choice) file with list of broken email addresses. 3. Indicate text which should be concatenated with wrong email addresses. 4. And click button to start process of replacing record by record. It looks like not complicated application. But here are several questions: 1. Do you have/know credentials to connect to ATS database with enough access level to modify needed fields? I’m asking this because sometimes third-party software producers restrict access to databases they are working with. 2. Do you know table/field where email addresses have to be modified? I can write a java app which will ask you to provide the .csv file with faulty email addresses. It will then automatically updates your ATS database. Requirement: A sample of the ATS databse.
